Kim is the chairperson for Community sub-committee and is Special Services Coordinator for the City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department. This position falls within the community relations area of Parks where she manages the volunteer and sponsorship programs. She has extensive experience organizing community volunteers, recruiting more than 1300 volunteers on a yearly basis for Park programs and events. Kim is a graduate of Leadership Bloomington Monroe County (LBMC) and has served on the LBMC Alumni Board for the past 5 years. With a strong interest in the nonprofit sector, Kim is a member of the Non-profit Alliance for Monroe County (NPA) and serves on their Networking and Training Committee.
