Although these maps are not finalized, we felt it was important for the public to be able to see where we will likely be taking the judges.  Much time has been spent already to carefully evaluate the route, considering the overall impression we will be giving the judges, but giving the most consideration to the points that can be given for the sites in each of the judging criteria.  As these judging criteria have been broken down into committees, each committee chair has been asked to evaluate the route and submit an evaluation indicating points that they feel can be given at each site on the route and to make suggestions for alternatives.  This has involved countless hours of planning and deliberating, but the committee feels they are close to finalizing the route. We will continue to post revisions as they are made and will announce the final route as soon as it is confirmed.

Brain Thompson is chair for the Route committee.  Brian is a full time REALTOR with FC Tucker-Bloomington and has been there for 5 years.  He is very involved with our REALTOR Community Grants Committee and will also serving on the Heritage Committee.  The Route Committee will be setting not only the Route the judges will be taking but will also schedule all the events for both days the judges are here and working with all the other Committees to coordinate what each wants to present to the judges on the tour.  Brian also serves as the Chair for the Bloomington Board of REALTORS RPAC Committee, Serves on the REALTOR Orientation Committee, serves on the Indiana Association of REALTORS Board of Directors, Serves on the Board of Directors for Indiana CRS and is a co-winner of Bloomington Board of REALTORS Melody Martin Humanitarian Award for 2008.
