Amy Thompson is co-chair for the urban forestry sub-committee of Bloomington in Bloom. Amy is the Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Educator for the Purdue Cooperative Extension Service in Monroe County. Amy has a B.S. In Forest Management from Purdue University and a M.S. in Forest Ecology from the University of Kentucky. Amy has held previous positions with the U.S. Forest Service, the University Of Kentucky and was a forestry volunteer with the U.S. Peace Corps. She is the coordinator of the Monroe County Master Gardener program. Amy has been an International Society or Arboriculture Certified Arborist since 2003.
